No. YMCA Awards Endorsement does not result in a training programme becoming a regulated qualification. It simply provides a quality kite mark for the programme. YMCA Awards endorsed programmes should therefore not be confused with any regulated YMCA Awards qualifications or those of another Awarding Organisation.

Endorsement is by YMCA Awards only and does not carry any CPD points. To gain CPD points, organisations must apply directly to the recognised industry body within their chosen sector and complete the appropriate application form(s) depending on the category/licence required.

A decision on your application will be made within 20 working days of receipt of your application. You will be notified of your progress within five working days of receipt of your application. At this point, a request for additional information to support your application may be made, or notice may be given of your application being declined.

12 months and is renewable annually thereafter.
