YMCA Awards (previously CYQ) is delighted to announce SFA funding approval for the Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing (500/8269/3) and the Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness (501/0519/X).
YMCA Awards is proud to add these two popular qualifications to their already impressive list of qualifications (from Level 1 to Level 4) that allow centres to draw down funding from the Skills Funding Agency (SFA).
YMCA Awards’ diverse list of training providers, further education colleges and higher education institutes can now effectively plan for the upcoming academic year secure in the knowledge that they will be able to gain funding for learners taking these qualifications, effectively supporting those who want to take their first steps in the active leisure industry.
The Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing is one of the most popular YMCA Awards qualifications and provides thousands of learners per year with a direct route into the fitness industry without the need for current employment or a work placement. It is also ideal for those re-engaging with learning or looking for a change of career. The Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Instructing Exercise and Fitness is ideal for those already in employment in the active leisure sector who wish to diversify their skill set and broaden their knowledge. YMCA Awards support centres in the delivery of these qualification with high-quality print and digital learning resources and in-house customer and technical support.
