With interactive eLearning and our supporting resources, there has never been a better time for learners to get qualified to teach the next generation of instructors.
The Education and Training eLearning content meets the needs of a range of trainee educators wishing to achieve a qualification that provides an introduction to teaching, whether they are currently teaching or not.
The eLearning resource covers 3 out of the 6 possible units for the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. On completion of these 3 units 12 credits are achieved, meeting the qualification's requirements. This qualification replaces the previous CYQ Level 3 and Level 4 Awards in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS).
The 3 units covered are:
- understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training
- understanding and using inclusive teaching and learning approaches in education and training
- understanding the principles and practices of assessment
eLearning from CYQ is a fresh, inspiring and interactive way to support course delivery. Its media rich, interactive content brings online learning to life with unique animations, informative narration, videos and revision quizzes. Available as content only or in a number of hosted guises, there’s a package to suit your centre, no matter how small or large.

Alongside our new eLearning product, we also have released the Syllabus and Learner Assessment Record (LAR) for this qualification.
