This qualification is aimed at learners wishing to become a personal trainer specialising in using portable equipment, but do not already hold the pre-requisite of a Level 2 Gym Instructing qualification or equivalent.

Overview of knowledge, skills and understanding
Learners will cover:
Learners must be aged 16 plus. Ideally they should have some experience of gym-based exercises through personal practice, learners will be required to participate in various physical activity sessions. Learners should also have communication skills pitched at level 2, these skills will be further developed during the course.
