This qualification is aimed at individuals who are directly involved in the external quality assurance of assessment, and in addition hold the responsibility of managing other external quality assurers.

A discipline specific qualification at or above the level being taught, with industry experience
(For some qualifications a bachelor's degree in health related exercise combined with practical application within the fitness industry will be considered)

Qualifications: 

Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector

This qualification recognises the skills, knowledge and competence of a participant to begin a teaching career in the post 16 sector. There are two awards for this qualification, one at Level 3 and one at Level 4. The Level 4 qualification is more widely recognised than the one at Level 3.
