YMCA Level 1 Certificate in Sport

This qualification is aimed at those preparing to embark on a career in the Sport and Active Leisure Industry, or wishing to practically participate in a number of activities. It is practical, hands-on qualifications which are designed to prepare the candidate for work in a multitude of sport and leisure facilities and raise awareness of how and where to participate in sporting opportunities

Knowledge and understanding relating to the qualification:

Structure: 

To achieve the YMCA Level 1 Certificate in Sport, learners must achieve 11 credits from the mandatory units and a minimum of 14 credits from the optional units available. Making a total of 25 credits.
