This innovative qualification, the first of its kind in the UK active leisure sector, has been designed to address government priorities around improving the health of the nation by facilitating increased levels of physical activity in sedentary populations using a community based approach.
The qualification will appeal to learners who would like to gain employment as community activators and support members of their community adopt and maintain a healthier lifestyles.

This qualification is for individuals who wish to become fitness instructors. Delivered and assessed in the workplace, it is designed so that individuals can gain the knowledge and competence needed in a work-based setting.
The qualification may also appeal to employers who wish to upskill their work force so they are fully competent in the workplace.
