What does my centre receive if our application is successful?
You will receive a letter of confirmation, a copy of the application report that summarises how the decision was made and the YMCA Awards Endorsed logo for use in relation to the programme(s) endorsed.

YMCA Awards is one of the UK’s leading specialist awarding bodies for health, fitness and wellbeing. The brand is widely recognised and respected by training providers, employers and learners alike. As well as having approved centres in the UK, it is also fast gaining a presence internationally.
YMCA Awards has over 25 years of expertise in its field as part of Central YMCA, the Activity for Health charity and the World’s first YMCA.
How long does endorsement last?
12 months and is renewable annually thereafter.
How long will my application take?
A decision on your application will be made within 28 days. You will be notified of your progress within 7 days of receipt of your application. A request for additional information to support your application may be made or notice may be given of your application being declined.
Do YMCA Awards endorsed products attract CPD points?
Endorsement is by YMCA Awards only and does not carry any CPD points. To gain CPD points, organisations must apply directly to the recognised industry body within their chosen sector and complete the appropriate application form(s) depending on the category/licence required.
Does YMCA Awards Endorsement allow a training programme to become a regulated qualification?
No. YMCA Awards Endorsement does not result in a training programme becoming a regulated qualification.
