We have recently updated our certificate paper to make sure it’s more secure than ever. Each certificate will now have an extra layer of security, and a new look to go with that.
Introducing Blockchain Technology
This new security feature is called Blockchain Technology. It’s a world-first in secure paper technology, using cryptographic keys and digital signatures, and delivering tamper-proof records. Each sheet has its own unique Blockchain structure, which makes them near impossible to alter or counterfeit.
The main benefit behind Blockchain Technology is that the higher security provides stronger protection against fraud. It will now be much more difficult for fraudsters to create fake versions of YMCA Awards certificates (and even if they try to, it would be much easier to verify the authenticity).
Blockchain is an extra mark of quality, and it’s one of the many ways we’re re-imagining the training sector and looking toward the future. With the adoption of Blockchain Paper, we hope to increase confidence in our certificates and further solidify YMCA Awards’ position as a forward-thinking industry leader

So how will Blockchain alter the way our certificates look? A security hologram, personalised microtext, and custom numismatic design are just a few of the features you can expect.
