• YYMCA Awards Shortlisted for Two FAB Awards 2026

    YMCA Awards is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in two categories at the Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) Awards 2026, recognising both its organisational transformation and its commitment to developing qualifications that respond to the evolving needs of learners and industry.

    The YMCA Awards has been named as a finalist in:

    Team of the Year

    Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

      The Team of the Year nomination recognises the exceptional work undertaken by the YMCA Awards team throughout its successful transition from Central YMCA to becoming an independent organisation. This significant milestone has enabled YMCA Awards to strengthen its strategic direction, enhance its support for training providers and employers, and continue delivering the high standards of quality and service for which it has become recognised across the health, fitness and wellbeing sector.

      The Equality, Diversity & Inclusion nomination acknowledges the development and launch of two Menopause specific qualifications in August 2024.

      • YMCA Level 3 Award in Understanding Menopause and Interventions to Support Health and Wellbeing
      • YMCA Level 3 Award in Supporting Participation in Physical Activity: Menopause

      These pioneering qualifications are designed to increase awareness, improve understanding and equip professionals with the knowledge to better support individuals experiencing menopause in workplaces, communities and health and wellbeing environments.

      The Federation of Awarding Bodies (FAB) Awards celebrate excellence, innovation and best practice across the UK’s awarding and assessment sector, recognising organisations and individuals making a significant contribution to education, skills and workforce development.

      Being shortlisted in two prestigious categories highlights YMCA Awards’ continued commitment to innovation, quality and supporting career pathways that meet the changing needs of learners, employers and training providers.
