    By completing this qualification, learners will meet:

    The purpose of each qualification is to enable learners to plan, deliver and evaluate group indoor cycling sessions with six or more participants.

    Learners will cover the following content:

    Plan a group exercise session (indoor cycling)
    Deliver and evaluate a group exercise session (indoor cycling)

    To achieve the YMCA Level 2 Technical Specialist in Exercise and Fitness: Group Exercise Instructor (Indoor Cycling) (Award) (610/4601/2), learners must achieve one mandatory unit. Assessments include:

    Session planning documents
    Professional discussion
    Session delivery (indoor cycling)

    These qualifications is an occupational entry qualification. This means that it meets the agreed industry prerequisites to enter the sport and physical activity sector as an employed or self-employed gym instructor, group exercise instructor and/or personal trainer, depending on the qualification completed.
