By completing this qualification, learners will meet industry requirements to perform spectator management roles including that of a safety officer.
The purpose of this qualifications is to confirm occupational competence and provide learners with knowledge, skills and understanding of Spectator Safety. They are mapped to the Skills Active National Occupational Standards (NOS) for Spectator Safety 2019. Completing these qualifications provides access to spectator safety management jobs including for as a safety officer for designated sports grounds and larger events.

The aim of the YMCA Level 4 Diploma in Spectator Safety Management is to provide learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding required to work within Spectator Safety at management level; including planning of safety at an event, managing resources, and developing and implementing policies.
