As new QCF qualifications come on stream, learning providers will be revising programmes and course materials to reflect these changes. The QCF offers learning providers a number of benefits, including:
- The ability to personalise and tailor learning to serve the needs of learners
- Access to a wider range of accredited provision
- Improving retention and progression rates by recognising smaller steps of achievement more frequently
- Improved information regarding learners’ prior achievements via the use of the unique learner number (ULN) and individual learner records
Current NQF qualifications will have the normal timeframes for completion (certification end dates) and these can be checked on the National Database of Accredited Qualifications or on the relevant qualification page on the CYQ website.
