Our Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (Practitioner), Outdoor Exercise and Sports Conditioning combines content from three qualification to support Gym Instructors to upskill to become Personal Trainers with additional scope to work outdoors.
Our Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (Practitioner) in Indoor and Outdoor Environments allows learners to further expand their scope of practice to either build in the use of portable equipment or work with larger groups. Our free Y-Mark digital assessment workbooks are very similar to a typical eLearning knowledge check or quiz. They contain a mixture of multiple choice and multiple response questions in an accessible and easy to navigate layout.
They can be completed anywhere there is an internet connection and, as they're self-marking, save tutors an average of 25 minutes per learner. All this adds up to more class time to perfect those practical skills!
Learners must be aged 16 plus and hold a YMCA Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing (603/2767/4) or equivalent.
To achieve the YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (Practitioner), Outdoor Exercise and Sports Conditioning (603/3510/5), learners must complete 8 mandatory units.
To achieve the YMCA Level 3 Diploma in Personal Training (Practitioner) in Indoor and Outdoor Environments (603/3505/1), learners must complete 8 mandatory units and a further 2 optional units from either:
- Pathway 1: Kettlebell and Suspended Movement Training
- Pathway 2: Group Exercise Instructing.
